Devin and Sarah were married at Juntunen Gardens in Mount Vernon, WA.  The day started out with gray, overcast skies but with the bride arrived the sunshine and it warmed up to be a perfect afternoon!  Colleen from Creative Celebrations worked endlessly to ensure that everything was perfectly in place and everyone had been taken care of. JLo has nothing on her, Colleen did a fabulous job!  The catering was by the Burlington Cafe (the stuffed mushrooms were delicious). Drew Grahm from Wanna Dance DJ Service, was the DJ and did sound for both the ceremony and the reception.  Drew not only impressed me by his extremely professional attire but also in his fun banter and his ability to keep people dancing.  With over 10 years as a radio personality, Drew expertly kept the the reception flowing well into the night!  Hopefully he'll forgive me for breaking his boutonniere while trying to pin it on for him....oops!  No worries, Colleen cleverly repaired the seemingly hopeless flower within minutes of it breaking.  Here are a few pictures from the wedding...

Angela and Brian were married on July 19th in Wenatchee's beautiful Ohme Gardens. In addition to the seemingly endless stone pathways that lead you through gardens, hidden pools, and waterfalls Ohme Gardens also offers stunning views of the Cascade Mountains and the Columbia River!  Given the time you could easily spend all day photographing this place!  The reception was held at the Wenatchee Golf and Country Club.  The service at this venue was seemless, the wait staff was pleasant and attentive and the food was simply amazing!  DJ Ty Howard provided sound and music for both the ceremony and the reception.  He arrived several hours early and kept them dancing all night, he even brought a bubble machine for the kids!  Congratulations to Angela and Brian!

Benny and Lana were married on June 28, 2008 at the Links at Olson Mansion.  It was an absolutely gorgeous day, especially for Washington!  The combination of a beautiful venue, a beautiful day, and exuberantly happy people made for some amazing photographic material!  Lana and Benny were so calm, it was easy to see that they had no reservations about the life long promise they were about to make.  Benny was such an eager groom in fact, that he actually started down to retrieve Lana from her father before she was even halfway down the isle!  The delectable cake was created by CJ's Bakery and the NW's own Chris Hammond Band kept the party going well into the night with their highly dancable blend of blues, R&B, and soul.  We had so much fun photographing this wedding.  I don't think we have ever taken so many pictures at one event!  Congratulations Benny and Lana!

Jerid and Jennifer are such a cute couple! They tied the knot on 06/07/08 (I told Jerid that he was in trouble if he ever forgot their anniversary since it was so easy). It is my favorite day of the year for weddings since it is my anniversary (11 years this year and the honeymoon STILL isn’t over YAY!). Jerid and Jennifer had their beautiful ceremony at Jackson Park Chapel in Bremerton, WA with their reception held at the newly remodeled Eagles Club (also in Bremerton). Desiree Steffens from Make it Special Event Planning did a fantastic job transforming the room into a romantic locale and even did the catering! Something different that I really loved about their reception was that upon their arrival they were announced and then immediately glided into their first dance. It was an incredible entrance and one that I highly recommend! Gordon Sound provided the music and was right on cue the whole night.

I am so thankful that Jennifer contacted me to photograph their wedding. They are a great couple. Seeing how happy Jennifer was while professing her love to Jerid during the ceremony brought tears to my eyes! I had to quickly blink them away so that I could focus the camera! I love my job!  I'll post more when I am finished editing.
